Scripture… As We Live It #265

This is the 265th passage in “Scripture… As We Live It.”

    Alan,

You must have translated the scriptures used in this country. You verse reflects the usual practice.

I always enjoy these posts! They cut straight to the point.
I would love to see you gather them into a book– a coffee table book.
    I would definitely buy it!

The world lives Phillipians 4:13 as “I can do all things if I just believe.”
However, the church (especially in its eschatology) often lives as if it says, “I can’t do anything until Jesus comes again.” or “Jesus can do all things while I sit back and watch.”

Remember: He is the Head and we are the Body. He works His will out THROUGH us.
