My friend Danny (“learning…“) and I will be joining Dave and BeckLynn Black in Ethiopia for two weeks. I will not be able to post updates while I’m in Ethiopia, so I’m publishing these posts to keep you updated on our plans. We would appreciate your prayers.
The picture today shows typical Ethiopian food: injera (a spongy bread) and wat (different types of stew). Pieces of injera are pinched off and are used to scoop up and eat the other food.
Today, I start teaching a conference for elders on the book of 1 Corinthians. I plan to teach an introduction to Paul and 1 Corinthians 1:1-9 in the morning, and I plan to teach 1 Corinthians 1:10-3:21 in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, Danny begins teaching 1 Timothy to Christians in a local prison in the morning, and in the afternoon he is going to nearby villages.
