Sometimes I think I’m going crazy

Sometimes I think I’m going crazy. Especially lately. This is a really crazy time in our lives, and, for now, it seems that things just keep getting worse.

So, what am I doing?

I’m cautiously taking the only path that I see open to me. And I’m carefully listening to any correction from God.

What’s going to happen? I don’t know, but I am trying to trust God in spite of everything that’s going on.

Father, I pray for peace in my brother Alan’s life. Please watch over his bride tomorrow and restore her health. Thank you for the encouragement he is to me. May his tribulation bring patience, experience and hope to trust you and exhort others to do the same.

it is refreshing to hear Christians admit to having struggles, as, at least in my upbringing, this was not encouraged. Especially those in a teaching role, like Alan. I find in my life that, in the times you describe, the best I can do is the last thing He told me. Proceeding cautiously with your heart open to hear, as you describe, is all we can do. For me it is an opportunity to stand in faith on His word, and it seems to come when we have entered a new season in our walks with God. I pray the Lord continue to strengthen you and your family in patience, faith and peace. Know that you are appreciated!
